This Privacy Policy describes how "Instagram Profile Saver" (hereinafter referred to as "the Extension", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information. We are highly committed to protecting your privacy. The Extension is designed to operate completely locally on your device and does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our external servers.

1. Data Collection and Local Storage All data generated or saved by the Extension, including but not limited to saved Instagram profiles, custom folders, numeric user IDs, and text memos, is stored strictly locally on your device using your browser's local storage (chrome.storage.local). We do not have access to this data, and we do not maintain any external databases or servers to collect your information.

2. Use of Google Drive API & Google User Data The Extension offers a feature to export Instagram feed images directly to your Google Drive. To provide this functionality, the Extension requests access to your Google Drive using the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file scope.

• Limited Scope: The Extension only requests permission to view and manage Google Drive files and folders that it has created (specifically, the /Instagram_Moodboards/ folder). It cannot access, read, or modify your existing personal files in Google Drive.
• No External Transmission: The authentication token and the images uploaded to your Google Drive are processed entirely between your browser and Google's API servers. We do not intercept, route, or store this data on our own servers.
• Google API Limited Use Disclosure: Instagram Profile Saver's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

3. Host Permissions and Website Access The Extension requires permission to access https://www.instagram.com/* to function properly.

• This permission is used exclusively on your local browser to identify profile data (such as username, numeric ID) and extract feed image URLs when you explicitly click the "+ Save" or "Drive Upload" buttons.
• The Extension does not track your browsing history, nor does it scrape or send any Instagram data to third-party tracking services or our own servers.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure Since we do not collect or hold any of your personal data on our servers, we absolutely do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise share your personal information with any third parties.

5. Data Retention and Deletion Because all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it. You can delete your saved profiles and settings at any time by uninstalling the Extension or clearing your browser's local extension data. You can also revoke the Extension's access to your Google Drive at any time through your Google Account Security settings.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy and publishing the updated policy on our Web Store page.
